What is KontrolFleet?
KontrolFleet is a cloud platform for transportation companies. Manage your fleet, trips, operators, documents, hours-of-service logs, maps, maintenance, checklists, alerts, and finances in one place, including CFDI with Carta Porte in Mexico. Office teams and drivers work on the same operation in real time.
Who is it for?
For carriers, freight fleets, and companies dispatching trips with tractors, trailers, or trucks. It serves owners, traffic managers, office staff, and operators on the road.
Do I need to install GPS hardware?
No. Drivers can report their location from their phone only while they have an active trip. Tracking stops when the trip ends. Existing telematics providers can also be connected for maps and alerts.
What does the plan include?
The plan is all-inclusive: Home, Trips, Hours of Service, Statistics, Fleet, Operators, Users, Customers, Addresses, Maintenance, Checklists, Stops, Map, Documents, Alerts, and Finance. Modules do not need to be purchased separately.
How does KontrolFleet charge me?
Through a subscription with two license types: office (administrators and office staff) and operator (drivers). An active plan requires at least one of each type.
Are there mobile apps?
Yes, two: KontrolFleet Admin for office teams and KontrolFleet Driver for drivers. The web portal is app.kontrolfleet.com. Companies invite each user; there is no public signup in the apps.
Can I use other map services?
Yes, independently. Trips are operated and tracked inside KontrolFleet; we do not send your routes to other map providers.
Does it support hours-of-service logs?
Yes. Operators keep their logs in KontrolFleet Driver while the office supervises them in the corresponding module, with alerts for route exceptions.
Can I invoice freight and Carta Porte?
Yes. Finance lets you invoice freight, track accounts receivable, and record trip expenses. In Mexico, you can generate CFDI with the Carta Porte complement.
Can my customer pay freight by card?
Yes. You can generate a secure payment link so customers can pay by credit or debit card.
Can I share a trip without giving my customer access to the whole company?
Yes. The External role lets you invite a customer or viewer and share only specific trips, units, or operators.
Is my data secure and who owns it?
Your operational data belongs to your company. KontrolFleet uses it only to provide the service. Access is controlled with users, roles, and permissions. See our policies at /terms and /privacy.
How soon can I get started?
You can have your first trip ready in minutes. Create your company, load your fleet, operators, and customers, then invite your team. There is no computer software to install.
